Okedo Daiko
Weighing in at under nine pounds, our katsugi Okedo Daiko are designed to be comfortable when carried or worn over the shoulder.
We create a strong yet lightweight ply laminate body with a sharp bearing edge from thin sheets of Maple and Birch hardwood. The heads are hand stitched using traditional horse hide* . This combination lends to a drum with a fast attack and bright resonance.
Our katsugi Okedo Daiko are available in two sizes.
